Just wanted to say thank you so much for your help with my pair of noisebreakers. They are brilliant: comfortable, great fit, easy to put in/out and so effective. I’m currently on a cruise ship construction site next to drilling, hammering and angle-grinding and with the noisebreakers in I can still hear myself think!

At WMS Firearms Training, protecting our hearing is vital and the ability to do this while still able to hear instructions, warnings and conversation is very beneficial. We started using Emtec moulded ear plugs in 2001 and I have used them with great success ever since.

When we are shooting shotguns and moderated rifles, they are perfect. In common with all in-the-ear type plugs, when we use un-moderated rifles or rifles with muzzle brakes, we use electronic muffs on top of the Emtecs as the bones around the ear are sensitive to sound in excess of 140 decibels.
The plugs are the perfect backup solution, in this circumstance, and help provide total protection. I also use them when mowing the lawn, strimming and in general high noise situations. As I suffer from a little tinnitus, it is vital I protect my hearing at all times. We recommend Emtec to all shooting sports participants; hearing is priceless, so protect yours.
