NoiseBreaker Ear Plugs for Engineering
Working in engineering inevitably means working within extremely loud environments. Being subjected to such levels of noise on a regular basis can lead to long-term hearing damage. Because of this, it’s vital that people working in such situations are provided with high quality hearing protection to take steps to prevent this from happening.
As suppliers and manufacturers of the NoiseBreaker® ear plugs, our hearing protection products are the perfect solution for the engineering industry.
Tailor-made to each individual concha bowl and ear canal, the Emtec NoiseBreaker is a silicone rubber moulded and vented ear plug which can be comfortably worn with other PPE including, safety glasses, breathing apparatus and helmets, for example.
They’re sure to provide laboratory levels of protection in any environment, thanks to their perfect fit which means they do not move, even under the most strenuous of activities.
They’re environmentally friendly, made of a medical grade silicone rubber – a derivative of silica – and eliminate the waste associated with disposable ear plugs, thanks to their permanent nature.
The custom fit of the NoiseBreakers allows for continuous day-long wear; ideal for those working long hours within an engineering environment.

Attenuation Data
Due to the perfect fit of NoiseBreakers, they work in the real world as they do in the laboratory and therefore the Standard Deviation is minimal. Hence to get a true picture of the attenuation of NoiseBreakers, the Mean Attenuation at each frequency is the key number, rather than the SNR (Single Number Rating)
Attenuation details on NoiseBreakers tested at Salford University Department of Applied Acoustics EN352-2:2002.
